PTM merupakan penyakit tidak menular yang tidak disebabkan oleh infeksi kuman seperti penyakit jantung, diabetes, penyakit patu, dan kanker. Mahasiswa KKN-PPM UGM 2022 turut menyukseskan kegiatan Posbindu (Pos Pembinaan Terpadu) Penyakit Tidak Menular di Desa Wonowoso. Posbindu PTM merupakan kegiatan deteksi diri dan pemantauan risiko PTM utama yang dilaksanakan secara terpadu, rutin, dan periodik. Pemeriksaan tersebut diperlukan untuk segera menindak lanjuti secara dini apabila muncul faktor risiko yang ditemukan saat cek kesehatan serta segera dirujuk menuju pasilitas pelayanan kesehatan terdekat. Pencatatan dilakukan dengan teliti sebagaimana arahan yang diberikan oleh kader kesehatan, bedan desa, serta petugas Puskesmas Karangtengah. Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan senam jantung lansia. Bertambahnya usia pada lansia menyebabkan adanya penurunan fungsi fisik dan psikologis. Sehingga dibutuhkan adanya senam jantung bagi lansia untuk meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani.<\/p>\n<p>Mahasiswa KKN-PPM UGM turut memperkenalkan kepada peserta Posbindu PTM Desa Wonowoso mengenai pencegahan dan pengendalian penyakit tidak menular (hipertensi dan diabetes melitus). Suatu keadaan di mana tekanan darah sistolik \u00a0\u226540 mmHg dan atau tekanan darag diastolik \u226590 mmHg dapat dikenali sebagai penyakit hipertensi. Sementara itu, diabetes melitus itandai dengan kadar gula darah yang melebihi batas normal. \u00a0Peserta diperkenalkan dengan faktor risiko, gejala, serta komplikasi yang diderita akibat hipertensi serta diabetes melitus. Kegiatan diakhiri dengan edukasi terkait konsumsi gula, garam, dan lemak. Dalam satu hati, gula hanya diperkenankan sebanyak 4 sendok makan, garam sebanyak 1 sendok teh, serta lemak sebanyak lima sendok.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter
